To ensure that your tilt doors lifespan isn’t cut short, we recommend having your door regularly serviced every 18-24 months depending on the size of your door and the number of cycles it does in an average week.

Whether it’s a counterweight tilt door or a spring balanced tilt door, the door should be balanced and adjusted to ensure it’s running smoothly. If the door isn’t balanced right it can put a significant strain on the various parts of the tilt door, particularly the bearings and motor (if motorized).

By getting your door serviced regularly you not only increase the lifespan of your fittings but also minimize the chance of getting caught out by a sudden break which can throw your whole day out.
